Wodan's Army (updated)

"interesting"

date: December 21, 2008

Nice, sounds not bad. But in my opinion it's too monotone and large.
Maybe next time better!

I never heard such a sound great before.
Are you using Omnisphere or something? ;)
Well done with this, it's fantastic and calm.
Keep it up, I'm going to hear some more of your stuff, soon. :D

-Orr- For Glory

"Epic!"

submission: -Orr- For Glory
date: November 17, 2008

This could be come from Soulccalibur. :D
This is very excellent but I don't like the mixing. At some times there is the volume a bit overcontrolled.
Keep the good work up and I think this here is underrated. ;)

"Nice one!"

I like it! The only thing I had swapped is the violin with a trumpet, though. Everything else is good! Keep it up and make more than one submission. :D

Author's Response:

Thanks for listening dude. Yeah I've been doing studying graphic design (graduate this friday, yay) and I have been aching to make some more music. MaestroRage made me realise the beauty of classical music, and composing music and telling a story without words, and Zero made me appreciate making music and that it is possible. Then there's people like DanMan87 who blow my freaking mind. And of course there's you with a clean sound and gently arranged compositions. Anyway thankyou for your advice more than anything. I promise another piece will be submitted as soon as I can.

Infiltration Mission [Scene.1]

"Amazing!"

date: November 16, 2008

I like the part at 0:42 most. :D It's sounds original.
And really nice bends! If I were you, I had filled the backgorund with some secondary instruments.
Anyway, good job!

I loved the beginning with the piano and then added with the guitar. Really good stuff! I love Jazz but I never hearing it. Which artists are the best of this genre?

Anemone's Theme

"Excellent!"

submission: Anemone's Theme
date: September 5, 2008

Very nice theme. The piano sounds awesome and the melody is great.
reminds me a bit of another composer here on NG, but only for a place: 0:33 ^^
All in all, I'ts just great. Keep the good work on.

By the way, how about a collab at some time?

Author's Response:

:-O... Really? a collab with Intero!!?? I'd be soo honored but i have never done a collab before and er.. i cannot record anymore stuff anytime soon. I am using FL but my pieces aren't so great on there. Look at my profile post 3 and At World's End is my best in FL (just so you get a taste of my skills in FL)

Thanks ALOT for the 10 - [this is my best work though so don't think too highly cause of one song]

==(Deep Blue Clouds)==

"Excellent Work!"

date: September 4, 2008

Yeah, it's really relaxing. I like the ethnic percussion and the bass guitar brought fresh elements.
The Woodwind reminds me of the music in the far east. Sounds like a Shakuhashi.
It's a great mixing of ethnic and synthetic instruments.
There are no places, which I could make it better.
Keep it good!

Author's Response:

Hi! Glad to see you got back at me that fast. Much appreciated ^^

And yeah, humbly and honestly I'm really proud of how I got those flutes (there's two of them, one kind of oriental, Chinese etc flute, and one more neutral flute that heavily relies on the breath) to sound together.

Thanks for the review man!

Enchanted Strings

"Orchestral?"

submission: Enchanted Strings
date: March 27, 2008

Na, not really orchestral. ;) You need more orchestral instruments. The Violin alone is not enough. ;)
The strings are sounding synthish and the there are some more synth instruments in 1:00.

So, now to the song. It's a cool overture, but I don't like the volume of the violin, it's too loud. And put a reverb on it, too, like at the other instruments.
I hope you make more. ;)

Author's Response:

Well theres 3 other strings in there then just violin =). Thanks so much for the review!
